Powerful Meditative Breathing Technique: Reduce Stress

Use this powerful breathing exercise to reduce stress! Until we are fully awakened, most of us will still have stressful thoughts, so to help with this, try this powerful breathing technique: Find a quiet place, then tell yourself first; “I am an infinite spiritual being, who is One with everything in the Universe.” Now, as you breathe in say the word “I”, then as you breath out say “Am”. If while you are doing this deep breathing exercise thoughts appear, pause the exercise and ask “To whom do these thoughts come?”, “They come to me, I am thinking the thoughts.”, now ask “Who am I?”, “What is the source of I?”. With repetition & practice this should dissolve the thoughts, then, continue your breathing exercise. If thoughts come up again, pause and repeat the questions. This is important because the breathing technique is designed to connect you with your Higher Self and you don’t want thoughts from the small self to distract you. Important Note: Do not resist the thoughts because this will only reinforce them (what you resist persists). Disempower them by using questions that dissolve the small self.
